Director - Advertising Operations

The Advertising Operations Director is a dynamic and cross-functional role that includes ad strategy, ad sales support, ongoing ad management, ad campaign trafficking, and optimization of all advertisement campaigns. The role requires deep analytical knowledge and reporting functionalities to drive data-driven decision-making. The Ad Ops Director will report to the VP of digital and work alongside account managers to ensure client's needs are being met and exceeded. 

Projects will involve digital media buys, A/B testing and implementation, data partnerships, audience-targeted research, budgeting and spend tracking, and reporting and analytics. Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

  • A passion and understanding of politics and campaigns.
  • Provide data-backed input on high-level advertising strategy
  • Ensure media buyers are employing a standardized approach to media buying
  • Lead paid campaigns across various channels [Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Google, etc.] for multiple clients with monthly budgets that can exceed $100,000 per month per client.
  • Analyze campaign performance and make performance optimizations [copy/bids/targets/placements, etc.] to maximize efficiency and growth.
  • Monitor emerging trends in paid advertising across channels and be able to adjust accordingly.
  • Manage and lead a team of media buyers
  • Recommend budget adjustments across client campaigns 
  • Coordinate the efficient delivery of billing information to AP


  • Political experience highly encouraged 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Political Science or related field
  • Proven track record of delivering cross-platform advertising campaigns
  • 3 - 5 years of Advertising management 
  • Ability to work in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, and dynamic company
  • Experience building and maintaining real-time data dashboards
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
